Wedding Exhibition

A Wedding Exhibition was organized in Mauritius from 1 – 4 April 2010 to enable the buyers and sellers of the various wedding products to come together. The exhibitors catered to all the needs of the potential customers including Bakeries, bridal wear, catering services, cosmetics, financial services, florist, gift registry, guest accommodations, honeymoon/travel/resorts, lightings, mehendi designers, photography etc. A Wedding Exhibition allows the customers to immediately compare prices and if an exhibitor has something of value, they’ll know it there and then. This helps the buyers to cut down on sales cycle and outsmart the competition.

Thomas Cook (Mauritius) Ops Co.Ltd participated in the same and organized an exhibit for honeymoon/travel/resorts, financial services and guest accommodations. It was an attempt to come closer to the prospective customers and provide better knowledge about the various services offered by Thomas Cook. We wanted to get the pulse of the market so that more of new and attractive packages could be planned and offered to our valuable clients. In fact our very own Marketing Lead Ms. Priscilla Gopee showcased a bridal dress for one of the designers present at the exhibition. The participation of Thomas Cook gave immense opportunities and exposure to our staff and helped them prepare for more of such events in the future.

All our prospective customers who came to our exhibit were contacted later and provided with more information by our travel agents who helped them to plan their trips. A lot of assistance was also provided on foreign exchange dealings which are very important when one travels abroad. Our endeavor was highly successful and people were able to gather information from our marketing and travel agents present at the exhibition. We hope to participate in more of such events and offer quality service to our customers.
